The backwaters always turn up some of the best surprises. Nice tip to go check it out next time I'm in HH

Thanks, Julian. By the way, if the Thai Beer moniker describes you, the next time you are in Hua Hin, you might want to check out Blue Smorr Craft Beer. It's a tiny little microbrewery on Naebkahardt Road just south of the intersection with Hua Hin Soi 51. Cheers.

This looks like my kind of town! I'd love to visit some time. Great photos!

It will be interesting to see if you get to a point where you decide you want to have a car. I suppose it would be easy enough living where you do outside the urban areas where a car can often be a liability.

By the way, if you're interested in reading about the self-identified "peculiar people" of Utah, maybe you'll enjoy the latest post on my recently opened Quirky Utah page. I'm planning to do an episode on the Deseret Alphabet soon, which might be fun for you. In any case, here's a link to to the peculiar-people episode:

Thanks, DavidQ. Funny, I thought the photos were a little weak this time, although I love the cat mural. I think at some point it may be necessary to have my own transportation. Many places like Prachuap town don't really have local public transportation apart from a few Tuk Tuk style taxis, so it is more difficult to get to places not within walking distance. Cheers.
